Just another day

Today has been such a nice day! Tristan and I got to go out to the park and to the library. It is "B" week, afterall, so we needed to get new books! We had a great time sitting and reading together in the kids section. You have to understand, though, this is monumental for us. The last time we went to the library I thought we may get kicked out! I realized later it was really my fault because I had never really explained how quiet libraries needed to be and so forth. Today, walking in, Tristan put his finger over his lips and said, "Shhh, Mama....whisper..." The little guy whispered the WHOLE time we were in there! WooHoo!!

So today we focused on  books. Since quitting my job, I have  decided to make more of an effort to get to the library weekly. Tristan really enjoyed going through his section and finding some books he thought he may like. I encourage you, if you do not already, go to  the library and spend some time there with your child. There is lots to learn from books!
